Ive just finished a bat well a part made of hunts that is a harrow cleft witch i have to say is a lovely cleft ruler straight grains low density good overall performance i did cheat with this bat i used a few high tech tools to create this i bought a set of woodworm sticks a while ago torch ones because of that i put the side grooves in like leo did to one of his bats ages ago anyway i put salix bat wax on the blade so i realy want a buffed finish any way of doing this or any one that can do this ?®

A method I use when I do bat refurbishments is by using bat wax and sandpaper. I applied a layer of bat wax to the bat, leave it for around 3-4 hours, and get some ultra fine sandpaper (2500 grit) and sand. It gives it a lovely finish!
