Got this bat sorted for my brother as he was after a new light bat....... and liked the look of the pics i showed him, he's not as fussy as i am with bats so it wasnt hard to persuade him this would be what he was after, and that of course i wouldnt mind having a go of it myself ;)
After emailing Charlie my requirements we agreed on a dead weight of 2lb 5.5 oz, and with stickers and grip applied i have just weighed it as 2.8. Picks up lovely
so heres my bro's new bat.....
ENJOY

Those labels just look so lush!!!
And for a fully loaded weight of 2'8, it looks generous profile!
And if I know Black Cat bats, then this should play beautifully!
Has he started knocking it in yet? How does it feel?
-
agree with pete about the stickers, very nice!
-
Everything is in the detailing!!
A lot of thought has gone into the bat, the stickers, and the whole concept! Good work Charlie!
-
I've already offered to knock it in for him, goes pretty well off the mallet.........
I can see this ending up in my kit bag
feels lovely in the hands :)
-
The stickers are different class, The silver is raised giving a 3d effect
LUSH
-
I am planning on getting a heavier one in the off season! Am looking forward to that!
And well done for being the first to review a voodoo! 8)

£250 normally I believe. £230 for forum members though.
-
nice thick toe - good for digging out the ol' yorker. lovely looking bat.

There are just so many nice bats around atm!!
I limiting myself to one winter purchase and I have narrowed it down to either,
M&H Distinction
Black Cat Voodoo
Blue Room New Wave (already have one and its by far the best bat i've ever had or seen)
or
Redback
M&H was winning as I didn't really want 2 of the same bat, but after seeing those pic's it's becoming a tough choice!!

That is a tough choice

One thing the top sticker should say Type A rather than grade A... or has that not come in yet?
-
how do you order a voodoo. It doesn't show on their website?
-
send charlie (blackcat) an email...... he's email address is on the website :)
-
Wow that looks a great bat! hope it plays well for your brother (and yourself :p)
-
My brother knows the score ive already told him i'l be using it lol, he hardly ever plays anyway ;)
-
not suprised, sounds like he never has a bat ;)
-
haha maybe he'l have to buy one of you sam as he's once again batless lol ;)
-
Good plan! Keep stealing them off him!
-
i love the stickers on this bat, theyre gorgeous.
-
They look better in the flesh, the bat itself is a stunner it was 2.5 1/2 before stickers were applied and has 30mm + edges..... btw it is now in my kit bag ;)
