Hi Guys,
Recently purchased a Custom Newbery SPS of Mike (Talisman). Thought I would post some pictures. The bat is made to the new GT shape and has got Uzi C6+ Cadbury stickers. Will do a review after I have used it.

i'm sorry to say but i think you should of, theres no doubting the quality of screaming cats but newbery's are just as good and cheaper.
great bat mate, should be an absolute rocket

I'd have gone Screaming Cat, Newbery's aren't all that rare here. It's nice to have something rare and different. Sure it performs very well too.

it's just been that everytime I have contacted mike for a newbery, I have somehow got drwan towards someting different... first the Fusion (the aura around getting my bat made to my specs in my presence), then the Screaming Cat (always been a fan of Julian's bats especially the Puma Original and also being different ... everyone has a GM, Gn, Slaz, Kook etc...Screaming Cat not may).....
In terms of quality, its upto individual who uses it and the willows quality (which of course cannot be predicted 100% accurately)... in absolute and percentage terms.....80% is how good you are and 20% on how good the willow is.
Remember the bat Don Bradman used, it was petite compared to todays bats and technology, still scored his runs...

your right yash, the individuality of the screaming cat has got to be worth the extra money

may i ask how much you paid for it mate?
