Alright so I had also bought pads from MB factory. To be honest I was quite impressed with the quality of pads. They are very well constructed and MB soft making skill looked very good. The outer leather seems to be of very good quality whereas the top hat from inside has leather as well. When wore they are very comfortable and feels very good. Designwise they are quite similar to SP pads. It's just there semi cricle faced downwards whereas this faces upward.
Feel free to ask any question you have.
Enjoy the pictures;

First time I've seen them, but quite like them, think again they look better than any other Pakistani pads I've seen, I'd be interested in how they fit.
-
Mike, hopefully in next day or two I will post few pictures for you in which I would be wearing the pads so you can get a picture of these pads fitting.
Yes by far they are best Pakistani pads. Top of the line AM pads, CA 12000 Plus and AS V3 all three are of similar design and are carbon copy of each other.
I just have one complain regarding Pakistani pads and it's that they haven't introduced knee roll yet. It's not that major but certainly a good thing to have in pads.

Does anybody know how I can contact MB for sponsorship? And you got yourself a good set of kit there cover drive.
-
You won't get any, they don't offer this in the UK.
-
ok mike, any news on the talisman / newbury deals

For that you need to contact MB shop in Slough as i know they have sponsered few young County/regional players.

Cover drive, how does all this gear compare with everything that you have owned before?
-
I didn't think Javeed did any more than a few locals?

Do you mean discount or sponsorship?

A part discount or part sponsorship. Mike I appreciate all the help that you've given me by the way :)

To be honest, it is as good as them. Other pads which I have are GN Nitro 5 Star, CA 12000 Plus (my brothers) and GM Original LE. So if I compare the pads with those pads as those are the ones I have used then I would say the pads are better than GN Nitro 5 Star and CA 12000 Plus. They are obviously not as good as GM Original LE but for these MB to be as good as them needs to improve slightly which would be if they introduce knee roll, make it full leather interior etc.
As far gloves go I would say they are best Pakistani gloves and I have experience all Pakistani brands gloves and these are by far the best among Pakistani. If I compare them with SS, Newbery and GM then I would say these are not that bad. Again if they introduce pittard palm then they could compete with leading gloves makers.
Bat, I haven't used it yet so I really can't comment. But overall I was very impressed with its craftsmanship and batmaking skills. Again I would say it is as good as the best ones if not then the best. I have used MB Malik Bubber Sher and it was lovely piece as well.
Hopefully in next day or two I will upload pictures which compares both MB Malik Bubber Shers (LE and non-LE)

Is discount and sponsorship same thing? I basically have everything of MB (bat, pads, gloves, bag, thigh guard and elbow guard) so does it mean I am sponsored?
-
not if you have paid for it...sponsorship is when the brand gives you products to represent them when playing games etc as they feel you will uphold their brand name in a positive light/manner.
Discount is what is offered as an incentive to get you to buy their products

Make sense mate.
Thanks!

so I get 30-60% off some companies becasuse I play county, does this mean that im part sponsored? or still merely a discount?
-
I would list this as part sponsorship personally if you have had to prove your credentials to them to get that discount?
No wonder the quotes you got were cheaper than ours ;)
-
yes, I was offered some very tasty deals

The MB Sher pads I received have a white inside top hat, no knee cup just covered with a cheap cotton fabric. The strap (knee strap) is way to short. Front foam protection is very soft and I very much doubt serious cricketers would wear them and they feel bulky.
Gloves on the other hand are well with good protection but on the tight fitting side. (I do find the embossed MB plastic on the velcro closure is not required as it feels bulky).
All in all, they are still a few years behind their neighbours in quality and protection.

I am not sure which Bubber Sher pads you received because I haven't seen one with white hat from inside. As far foam goes I guess many other pads such as Gray Nicolls Xiphos Pro Performance have foam in them as well whereas they are being used in test cricket. I am not sure if it is cheap cotton fabric but I found it same as my Gray Nicolls Nitro 5 Star pads had.
I some what agree with you on the gloves but I don't think they are few years behind their neighbours. The reason is that if you compare older MB Malik gloves with Bubber Sher's you will find significant improvements. So they are improving and don't think they are very far behind them now. I believe you are referring to the tiger on the front. If so then yes it shouldn't be there as it is extravagant.
Another thing which comes to my mind in regards gloves is that lately we have heard mens size in Asia is basically small mens in UK so I guess tight fitting could be because of this.
