Title: Bat Repairs
Post by: Talisman on September 13, 2010, 05:37:57 PM
Hi, having seen how many people seem unsure about where to find the best possible quality repair at a great price I thought I'd make my service formal. If you have a bat that needs a repair and you cannot have done by the manufacturer themselves then I hope can help.

If you have a bat that needs any repair work including new handle, gluing or simply a full clean contact me directly. I will get it repaired for you and posted back within 10 working days. The repairs are as good as you can get and each of the 3 people who repair have been doing this for over 35 years each.

You can have a choice of handle construction when the bat is rehandled, standard firmness or whippy. All bats that are rehandled or repaired can be fully cleaned free of charge, have a new grip of your choice fitted free of charge and have a toe guard fitted free of charge too.

Prices,

£25 for a rehandle and/or repair including return postage to UK.
£20 for a full clean including a new grip of your choice and toe guard fitted including return postage to UK.

Evening Mike, how is my bat getting on? Hope it's fixable, if possible it would be great if you took the stickers off so I can have a nice plain bat.

Cheers

Sir,

Since you have been one of my customers for some time I would deeply appreciate a little restraint and maybe a reporting of the clear facts in this delicate matter.

1, To my knowledge there are no paid advertisers selling bat repairs on this forum.
2, I as a long standing member and patron of said forum am merely clarifying my stance and availability.
3, You are a cake withholding meddling slightly tipsy fool, there; I said it and I'm not sorry......

Cheers Mike, I will give you a call when the bank balance has gone up from being paid! And pride and joy is a 3lb CJI I have been using all season. Only a grade 2 but my god it goes! Pressed a little softer than usual with a really massive profile and a lovely pick up!

Wazza, no I will still do refurbishments myself if required :)

And cheers Richard!

I can send you some matches for £0.12 plus P+P....

Most things can be repaired, it is just a case of will they be of any use after, you might want to ask Gary for a quote to do it, you will get new labels from him if you do.
