Salix do a bat wax which is linseed oil just in a solid form
does this act as a substitute for linseed oil, or is this something you'd use as well as (after oiling the bat) ?
please advise

I think it is used instead of linseed oil, But i have never used it, I think Tom @Ayrtek has used it before
-
yeah its basically a small pot of wax that you rub onto the bat...leave for 2 hours then rub down with a cloth to finish. Used as an alternative to linseed oil, Not cheap but does a decent job.
If your looking to apply stickers tho put them on before the wax...something i learnt the other day!!! Had a nightmare trying to get our stickers onto Frankenstein after I had waxed it!!!! :(

cheers TOM :)

Found this bat wax really useful for getting cherries off a bat with no scuff sheet on!
-
would they be the cherries on the edge? haha gotta leave the ones on the middle :)
