I like the reebok gloves, look a little different. Wish i could say the same for the red maliks!
What are the glove palms like?
-
I am currently using MB Zulfi and Slazenger OzBlade, both feel really good, OzBlade goes like a steam train, fantastic ping. I named it THE SHOTGUN, lol
-
Reeboks are really comfortable, very suprised with how good they are, I am using them at the moment, the red Maliks are not good at all tbh, they are like sausage fingers, cant bend my hand properly in them, may give them away I think
-
Soft palms on Reebok gloves, lovely feel.
The palms on MB Malik Bubber Sher can be viewed a little closer on this post:

Where di you get the reeboks from?
-
What bag do you have?
-
I have a bag from Pakistan, its called a ZB Sports bag, nothing special but carries loads of things, I will take a photo of it soon
-
Reeboks were from Pakistan
-
Pakistan on a visit or bought and shipped over? Really like the look of them, do you know anyway places over that might sell them?
-
He went on a visit, I rang him up mid season asking for a bat and he bought me all this stuff :)
-
Sorry, who is he?
-
Sorry I didnt mention that my brother bought most of this stuff from Pakistan
-
Ah ok, if he is going back soon get him to get me a pair of those reeboks!
-
Is it true that you don't have to oil those bats.
-
the maliks? i doubt its true, but then if you whack a scuff sheet on you dont need to.
-
Cheers mate, its just that I heard that they come out of the factory with thin plastic cover over them, so if you try oiling them, the oil just sits on the top and doesn't get soaked into the bat.
-
I think they are talking about the plastic wrapper that the bat is in not a layer on tge face of the bat unless they mean a face guard ???
-
Thats just the shrink wrap as tom said i think!
-
The plastic cover is quite thin, you can't take it off and you can't really see it, but if you run your hands over the bat you can feel it. Thats what I was told anyway.
-
that could just be the finish, i dunno but never heard it! could be worng easily though :)
-
I have some of those reebok gloves. But ive got the white wrist sweat band on mine instead of black and white.
-
To be honest lads, I oiled the Sher Amin and it was not soaking the oil in for some reason, I put a very thin layer on aswell. My friend checked it out and he reckons that there is a very thin plastic sheet on it which makes sense.
The same amount of oil was applied to Bubber Sher and it was fine
-
Never ever ever leave your bat in a cold shed or room for the dew to get to the bat. The moisture will ruin the bat. I wonder if you oiling it helps the bat in this situation
-
Paddy, can you take a picture of your Reebok gloves, thanks in advance
-
Its not plastic sheet, wrapper etc. MB bats have a thin coat of polycarbonate (Can't exactly what it is called) but I am 100% sure they have some sort of coating which doesn't allow oil to soak in. So to get rid of that coating peel it with a knife.
-
ohhhh, thanks for that cover drive, i was a bit confused because it doesn't look like a sheet but there was definately something there
-
Anyone know the reason why they have this polycarbonate on the bats
-
I was talking to MB owner when I got my bat he said I have made your bat water resistance by applying a coating. So I believe it is to repel water but am not 100% sure
-
Paddy, can you take a picture of your Reebok gloves, thanks in advance
Will do mate. Will put them up tonight.
-
@arif786 also you should never ever ever sand your bat down with a sanding machine using 30 grit paper. I wonder if that ruins the bat?
-
sanding a bat is actually part of the refurbishment process of a bat, it is a must and makes the bat look luuuurvly!!
-
Very nice kit bro. MB Zulfi bats are my favorite bats and I also had Few CA's restickered as Slaz V389 and Slaz Oz Blade. The reebok gloves are fake but MB green bubber shers gloves are best gloves I've ever seen. I will try to buy those frm Armie.

the gloves are fairly worn. But are still very, very soft and comfortable.
-
how long have you had these for? Do you use batting inners?
-
About two seasons as theyre my second pair. Sometimes wear inners when its a hot day yes.
-
on a cold day lol
although it does make u look quite pro when u change your
gloves and you have another pair of the same

No mate when its a hot day lol, when gloves are gonna get sweaty realy quick i wear inners and then get rid of inners when they get sweaty.
