pick up is awesome for me as a normal sweet spot bat Richard. Bat speed is average as it has quite meaty middle.

That is very nice! Nice grain structure!

Did you get stung by customs or import charges?

No, I need to check I think James has put the actual value less on customs forum.

Hi Everyone,

We hope you all have just about recovered from a hard, but enjoyable, season.

Down here in the Southern Hemisphere we are just kicking off our new campaign but definitely have not forgotten about you guys Up North!

As you may have read in our October Workshop Update email from a couple of weeks ago we were due a new shipment of willow. This has now arrived and we are incredibly pleased with what we have received. There is a huge selection of all grades of cleft and due to this we are incredibly pleased to present our Northern Hemisphere End of Season Sale:

Buy one knocked in Laver & Wood Private Bin and receive a free knocked in Laver & Wood Legend net bat FREE

No longer will you be worried about those Bat-Breaker net balls ruining your most trusted blade!

The Private Bin is made from our grade 1 English Willow stock and the Legend is from the grade 3 equivalent. Both bats will be hand made to your specification and delivered to your door for the price below.

The current price for a knocked in Laver & Wood Private Bin is US$600/£370 and for this price you will receive the Legend net bat free of charge!

To get the process started you can either visit our free online bat sizing form - http://www.laverwood.co.nz/sizingform.htm - or go straight to our secure online order form - https://secure.xplore.net/laverwood/ssl/order.htm.

This End of Season deal is only available until midnight on the 31st October 2010 so make sure you get the customisation process started as soon as possible!

Nice bats, but there is no way that I can fork out that much, even for two bats. The most I've paid singly is £185, and since finding this forum, a lot less!
