Hey guys, first time poster here. Love the site.
I ordered my cricket bat about a month ago and have done all the preparations that needed to be done (knocking in, oiling, facing, etc.). I've been playing with it in the nets this last week only today realising there's a crack in the toe of my bat. "
Here's a couple of pictures:

I'm unsure what sort of glue to use, whether that is PVA or superglue or something else I haven't heard of. Should I also oil it? It does look a bit dry but I might put some shoe goo on instead. I've also heard that some people mix sand dust with glue.
I won't be using it till it's fixed of course.
What are your thoughts guys?

It needs a fix with wood glue and a clamp, nothing more.

This is gospel, So either see to do the work yourself, Of see if the bat maker will do it for you.
