"forbidding bowlers bowling the ball into the ground to a team mate, which damages the ball and may waste time"

Blimey - well harsh - I know league cricketers who do this week in, week out as part of their ritual of preparing to bowl

The law that should be changed is the one that let's the batsman back up half way down the track

Very good video explaining the rule changes.

I do find the bowler not allowed to practice before hand a bit harsh. Surely you'll still be able to do it at village level?

Also I agree about the backing up rule - that should be changed back.

Is there a rule about if a batsman brings on a runner, is he allowed to back up? or does he have to stay in his crease like the batsman who he's running for?

since the words fielding, practise and athletic are used extensively in the new laws,my team will be perfectly safe.

I think these are all pretty good changes personally, and the video is massively helpful in showing the real world use of the laws , only one im not a fan of is the not being allowed to practice bowling - i dont think this should be implemented in all levels of the game - junior especially
