-

-
Is this the one you asked me about before mike if it is I know
-
Is that the one you were waiting for from a sponsored player? the 2.9?
-
Wil be very interested to see what you got as I remember this ebay guy being mentioned about on here previously - something to do with always taking off the toeguards? Why would you do that?
-
spill the beans then!
-
Broken or seriously used and damaged?
-
ah ha!!! mike you bought it in the end? must have been out of curiosity!!
this is the one that had a few threads on it earlier from that super bargain seller we know
Did Ricky sign it himself,is that it?
-
A 2 '12 pink solitaire?
-
This bloke is a legend on Ebay and gets away with murder, Id imagine you bought it just to report him.
-
Did he send you a signed photo of FattusCattus? with an empty packet of garibaldi biscuits?
-
2'9 ounces worth of plywood?
-
I got what might be a Kookaburra Kahuna Twin, at first glance you might think it was just as described and rush off out to use it....
However,
The bat does not look the same as the one in the photo, it could be that this is the twin of it?
The bat has 9 grains, not 11.
The bat does not weigh 2.9, it is 2.11
The bat has been used and refurbished.
The bat upon close inspection has been rehandled.
I see why this seller has only a few negative feedbacks due to fake bats as it looked real to the first glance but it clearly is a broken bat that has been repaired and I'll be waiting for a full refund for it.
I did only buy it to see what it would end up being and having watched all the bats listed this summer and last summer could not resist seeing how bats were repeatedly sold at a seeming loss. Now I know.

got it detective! well done
i've emailed this guy loads of times. The question has always been ''is it a genuine kook/slaz/gm?'' etc
the answer is yes.......it's genuine,it just not new
I had a gm catalyst off him,I could not tell any different from my mates gm(genuine) so thought it a proper gm
Now we know.Refurbs these days do come back looking real good unless there is major damage.
Well done Mr Talisman, now we know

If you check his feedback left for others you will see that he has repeatedly bought fake cricket bat stickers, hard to check his feedback out as he lists them all privately so you cannot trace his sales.
-
www.goofbay.com you can track sales and purchases.
-
I wish I'd known about that years ago, thanks Tom.
That makes this sale very interesting then as he lists an unused Twin and says his son is scoring loads of runs with the other.... mine!!!!

Did you get the contracts cancelled then mike
-
I have no idea, when I spoke to Kookaburra they said that no contracted player could sell their kit and if they found they had it would be cancelled.
-
out of interest how can you tell the difference between a brand spanking new bat and one that has been refurbed extremely well?
-
brand new bats would have the edges of them rounded off through knocking in i shouldnt think ???
-
Ive always wondered if the seller actually reads the forum as he has been mentioned quite a few times in the past and always for the same reason.
-
i have purchased a bat off this guy 3/4 years ago, now questioning whether its real :(
-
eBay is a mine field you pay your money and you takes your chance and you don't always get what you bargained for.
-
have you got a full refund yet? just curious
