I ask because due to the long break I took from the game, I have several bats (and other gear) from the mid to late '90s. If anyone is interested, I will happily put up some threads with pics and details.
Just an idea, let me know what ya think.

It would be interesting to see how much bat manufacturing has improved over the years.
I would be interested.

pics off all the gear would probably go down well mate

That's an interesting comment CD. I'm not sure it is clear cut that bat making is 'better' than 10 or 15 years ago, I have some absolute stonkers that would go up against anything I own that is modern. What is very clear though is how trends and designs have changes dramatically. I will cover this more in the threads should there be enough interest. :)

Yeah i would defo be intereted in seeing bats from the mid 90's especially, perhaps others who have older bats could supplement your thread?

Yeh, or I suppose they could just put them up anyway, I'm not sure the best way to work it.

Go for it!

Ok then. As blurry rubbish photos are a pet hate of mine, and I think of myself as a bit of a photog, I will start this at the weekend when I have some decent light. May have a chance tomorrow after work if its sunny :)

what equipment can we expect to be on display?
-
Will we see GN Twin Scoop, Megapower or Dynadrive? Any chance of a GM Diamond? Do you have anything that goes as far back as the Slazenger V12 with cut-off shoulders (much like the Willostix Stick)? HOw about a classic Hunts County Reflex? i know a fair few of these are late eighties and early nineties....

I may have a Reflex kicking around ;)
-
I think I know someone with a dynadrive. I will ask around.

Old bats I have owned and would love to see in the series: GN Powerspot, Slaz V12, GM Diamond, GN Dynadrive, HC Insignia (first bowed blade they did, I believe). All icons in their own right!
-
An original mint condition GN Scoop would be pretty good to see :)

There was one on ebay a month or so back - it went for about £12.

I think my father had a scoop somewhere, I will ask him.

Look what I just found.

Now if those aren't blasts from the past, I don't know what is! I remember our operning bat at school having the first and a club one of the second being ridiculously heavy...
