Title: Measurements help
Post by: peplow on October 06, 2010, 05:23:19 PM
I have officially grown out of my gt pads, its a sad day as i love them!! And definately going newbery again!

I thought i had grown out of them then decided i could just stick with them but today when i tried them on they were tiny, even right ontop of my boot my knee was basically on the top hat!!

The gt's were quite small and i owndered if anyone could help me out in finding me new pads. I am thinking of going with newbery sps (the all white ones) simply because i hear the knee area isnt as bulky.

I am told the sps pads are slightly taller than the gt's, therefore i odnt know whether youths sps would fit me, or whether small mens would be a much better option, i od like small pads which is why i ownt go with mens,

COuld anyone enlighten me on measurements in length or difference in length between sps youths and small mens so i can compare to my gt's and decide which size to go for!

Cheers

I am around a 40, which owuld suggest small mens, i think newbery come up small compared to many so msall mens would probably be best!

i'm 6"4 but my lower legs are fairly short in comparison to the rest of my body it seems.... lol

i really am inbetween mens and OSM but am very happy with my new pads!

i would say mens for you tbh. just depends if you would prefer them to be a tiny bit too big or a tiny bit too small....
