Recently I've noticed that Sachin's Adidas bats aren't exactly the nicest bats I've seen and I was wondering why they deteriorate like they do?

Obviously he's a class player and he times most of his shots perfectly which would explain why the bat looks very worn on the middle of the bat. However, why does he continue to use these bats that are worn so much?
-
Probably 1. because they are amazing still and 2. he has got runs wiht it and is superstitious, wasnt the one he got 200 with like that one?
and the middle is worn because he uses it a lot!
-
Surface damage, the middle is still fine
-
New Adidas spikes?
-
That is the one he got 200 with and has used it in every match since apart from one innings where he used a different one then switched back to this

Thought it may have been, remember that annoying presenter looking at it close up on a programme!

Tape at the top and tape at the bottom keep it together.

That one is a BAS i am pretty sure.
He loves it and says it's brilliant, why fix it if it ain't broke, hense his pads
-
I know adidas sponsor the bat but who actually makes it?
-
A much debated topic. I think the general consensus is that he has bats made here there and everywhere, Newbery for one though.
-
Maybe due to climate and his bats are extremely dry?? If he loves the bat then why not use it until it is literally in two pieces!!
Also looks like the scuff sheet didnt do to well with that particular bat!!
-
Funny how we all want bats wiht no damage marks etc yet if that was was offered to us we'd probably bite his hand off!! :D
-
he is using this bat for quite a while now!!!
