Post by: bat repairs on October 08, 2010, 01:52:40 PM
this bat was bought from a forum member, see the before and after refurbishment pictures.

i had this bat back from two days and sold it to the first person that picked it up.

hi mate

i know the trade well and have managed to secure deals with manufacturers which other repairers don't have access to.

this means original brand bats are sent out looking brand new by the manufacturer as it's in their interests especially when the customer is looking for a new bat eventually.

if you need any more information please drop me a line via e-mail from my site or here on the forum.

cheers,

dom

Which companies have you secured deals with, that you could apply stickers to?

well you know one of them Gray Nicolls.

Hawk, Chase, Newbery & M&H.

I'm in the process of sorting out agreements with all the leading brands which again others can't do mainly as they don't have the trust.

have you got one that needs looking at?

This may sound like i am taking the piss but i am not! I have a bat, my first ever bat, a harrow, it fell apart and so for a laugh i taped it up with white electrical tape as sort of a white stamford t20 bat! and one i use in rain, wondered whether it could be done, with remove taping and fix the blade as its falling apart?

Dom i have a bat you could look at for me which may or may not be worth a repair, its an Australian count bat which i was given by an international player from Australia, it was obviously made by GN out there and has the carbo handle with a decent amount of damage to the shoulders and the whole bat needs a refurb or binned. Don't want to wast money on it if its past it however its a truly awesome bat which could be worth a repair hence why i still have it.
