Title: Club Kit
Post by: jdask on October 12, 2010, 05:21:16 PM
I have been put in charge of sorting my clubs kit for the coming season and was wondering if anyone else has had experience of doing this and has any advice about how to go about it?

Also if any companies or anyone with links to a company that carries out this kind of service please get in touch with your prices and services.

Cheers

What does this mean? Going through the old stuff, working out what is dead and replacing it? Sorting out shirts and jumpers? Buying a whole load of new stuff? Please expand a little!

I'd hazard a guess that he means sorting out club stash- team shirts and training gear

Avoid Onetwentytwo who sell canterbury stuff, absolutely dreadful! Shirts turned up 5 months late, awful quality too. Abysmal customer service. Took 3 months for me to get a refund when my trousers never even arrived!

timing is half the issue with clothing supply from previous experience.....saying that it might not have been their fault if the clothing wasn't delivered to them and they were the middle man ???

luckily we deal direct with the manufacturer so get it delivered directly and have a printing/embroidery firm who do somersets kit to take care of the printing etc

Id advise against Pro4sport also we have used them in the past and the service varies from a couple of weeks to 4 or 5 months very unreliable. We now use Charlie French who sells his proskins range made on site so delivery is pretty sharp. Have also used Owzat in the past for MKK and Canterbury and they also offer a decent service.

Yep sorry i meant playing kit.  Cheers for the heads up on who to avoid.

Basically trying to get quotes to a bundle package consisting of:

Playing shirt
Jumper
Cap
Training top
After match polo

Am starting now so to hopefully have everything sorted well in advance or the season as i dont want to spend my summer chasing people for money lol.
