Hi guys im buying a new bat very soon and cant decide i can get
. A county 750 it has a set profile and comes in grade 2 english willow made by Gray Nicolls
or a
. Laver and Wood churchill custom specs and carbo handle but its grade 3
Both are the same price
Which bat would you choose

If u can get a nice looking Laver, then go for it, but if u see a nice county then go for that..

Have a feel of the County, if one feels right for you then buy it, chances are if you have a bat that feels right for you, it will suit your style of play, and you will score runs with it. If you don't find one, don't hesitate to get in touch with James, makes very nice bats, and will talk through your specs with you if need be, to find the right spec to suit you which is primarily the reason for buying a custom bat. As someone has already mentioned looks, a word of advice, don't sacrifice feel/performance for aesthetics.

1st pref would the bat that you can hold/feel before buying. If both the bats are to be ordered onlune, then I would recomment a LW.
Since you will explaing you specs to James you can be 99% sure that you will get what you wnated. Not so sure about the county on this though as it will be off the shelf bat i guess

get a laver, all the bats james produces provide great performance. grade 3 won't look as good but is sure to perform. i had a churchill looked decent enough but went like a rocket

Go and see what the county is like and if you like it get it, if you don't get a laver.
