The game is guess what they are (if it isn't totally obvious)...

Difficult to say. Haven't properly used a few of them, so I can't pass judgement fully. Off the mallett, I'd say it's a toss up between the Lekka, M&H and Laver, but playing with them will be different due to profiles. I've documented that I found the middle too high on the Laver, so it's going to be interesting testing with the Lekka and M&H.
<Update 16-12-2010>I'd say that the M&H is my current favourite, closely followed by the Lekka, having used them now. Absolutely loved the M&H in the nets, both pick up and middle.
Are the laver and the m&h long blades?
Yes, they are, as a result of long discussion with the two batmakers. I prefer the pickup on the M&H.

loving the way it went 7) and then 8) instead of 8 ) haha!
Lovley bats though mate, top collection!!
-
Yer whats with the 2 longer blades??
-
is that McLean a laminate, looks like it from side on?

Doubt it....
Mine is on Order atm :)
-
i think it is a laminate
-
Suppose only Craig will know the answer.......
-
The middle on the Excel looks much lower than is shown on their website. More to it than meets the eye?
-
im about 99% that is a laminate , as im sure craig had one for sale as a mclean , think it went on ebay , i dont think thats the vixen profile anyway
-
Its a laminate, Craig got the bat off someone (Peplow I think) then stickered it as a Mclean
-
Yes, the Mclean is a vixen stickered laminate originally from Peplow.
The H4L isn't a standard Excel profile. Someone else on here has its twin, but it is a lower middle than the website shows.
-
the lammy is a good un :) i liked it and wish i hadnt got rid of it now :(
-
I'll probably stick it on the for sale page shortly, but due to the imminent acquisition of a rather special H4L 666, I may be open to offers on the H4L pictured here.

Tim,
Great collection mate.
I wish you had brought your collection with you yesterday to show it to Courtney :)

He's a bowler. Not sure he'd have been that interested! (Then so are we and we seem to be bat Jackdaws....)

Well that was the first winter nets session and I am really going to ache on Friday.
Put the Lekka through its paces. Boy is it a big bat! Once I'd got my eye in it was flying! Nice one Sam!
-
No problemo :) glad you like it!!
-
Got to test the S6 out at nets tonight. This one is lh, lb. The combination suits me down to the ground and the bat seems better than the lekka. I seemed to find the middle more regularly looking at the cherries. Definitely recommend an m&h with this sort of profile!
-
Yer whats with the 2 longer blades??
I'm pretty tall, so LH or LB or LH & LB is really a better size for me. The new H4L (which isn't photo'd) and the S6 are both LH, LB, the Lekka is LH and there is also, hiding away and not yet togged, a V12 LH. Of these, my favourite so far is the S6. Looking orward to getting the H4L knocked in so I can start that one off as well.
When I update the photos you'll be able to see why!

What is wrong with the CJI, they have offered me sponsorship so just wondering if anyone has any opinion on their stuff??
-
That's a £25 inc postage bat. I know the Sumo and Fatso limited edition trojan bats are kashmir Willow, although the others I think are English Willow at the top end of the price range. Don't know about the softs though.
