I'd say two things:
This will be moved to the items wanted section in due course by a mod lol!
Also, have you considered gn quantum etc. Whrllies; they're very spacious too..or even custom brands' wheelies: h4l's looks huge tbf!
-
Bugger it...still getting used to the layout here mate. Will have a look at them cheers
-
Lol it's no problem! Welcome to the forum btw..yeah have a look at lots of brands; lots of high-end wheelies are VERY roomy IMO!
-
I've looked at the GN Quantum before actually, am I right in thinking that it's similar to the kook pro1000 wheelie? Are they not massive??? I'll get my head caved in by the boys. I spread out enough as it is
-
GM Duplex shop around and you should get one for £60
-
Don't get the gm if you use big bats as the bat cave is too small
Plus newbery sps are fantastic and will fit all that in with ease and ayrtek are getting some new ones which also stand up
-
I was just going to say have you looked at ayrteks design. It looks a massive bag but stands up. Get all your kit in with ease and it'll prop up to save space.
-
iv been told i will have pics of the final version today!!! then again they said that on monday too lol will see what turns up in the inbox
-
Aero Stand up, Newbery API x or SPS will all fit that kit in with ease....
-
Whatever you do do not buy the Gray Nicolls Quantum bag. I had one last year. The quality of the material was extremely poor and the zips broke. After the first use the boot pocket had worn through and you couldn't close one of the zips. I sent it back (Barringtons were very helpful in that repsect).
I opted for the Salix Pod Pro in May. Very nice bag so far and much better quality material than the GN. Max I've filled it with was two pairs of batting pads, keeping gloves, usual batting kit, usual clothes, spikes, spare pair of artificial pitch boots, plus loads of space in the side pocket for scoring pens, towel, snacks, drinks bottle. Very pleased with it.
Only comment would be, if you are getting a wheelie and can find one with a metal pull handle rather than a soft one, it will wheel that much more easily. I think the Albions do this. If it's a big bag it does make it heavier, but boy is it easier in the long run!
I also have a massive Albion Pro Elite bag, which is frankly huge. You can get all your kit, plus the team's kit, plus a butler in it. Makes for something pretty heavy, but it's a solid, dependable, big bag, plus a home for a homeless person in the off season.

That's the kind of pull handle you want!

Coming soon to a changing room near you. Can't wait to see then finished product Tom lad! Not long now until I will have my hands full of ayrtek gear :D
-
Looking forward to seeing the finished article Tom - the wife is getting fed up with the kit being spread all over the house by the kids!!!! Found my 2 year old daughter wandering round with my gloves and lid on the other day :D
-
Liam are changing room is gonna be so small with 3 of them bags in lol
-
Dude, it's tiny anyway. There will just be a bigger cue of lads waiting to change. Why do you think I get to ground early does, it's not to do the wicket mate, it's to get in the dressing room and sort myself out lol
-
its so we can play with the bat and play airball ;) before getting told off lol
-
Both the Newbs SPS and Arytek bags look good. Will do some digging. Have sent Tallisman a message so just waiting for him to have some time to respond. Cheers lads
-
I'm not a fan of the newbery SPS, find the compartments very poorly designed and wastes space. will be offloading it soon, watch this space ! :)

Stand up wheelie bag-wise what else have we apart from the Artek and aero?Does the GM duplex double up as one?
-
The duplex le does stand up
-
Gm Duplex is not big enough for all that kit and the compartment for the batting pads isn't big enough for moulded pads like the morrant international ultra-lites, the kook pro 1000 is OK in terms of size but apart from that it isn't a good bag. For large amounts of kit and a stand up wheelie then Aero is simply the best ive used so far.
-
Hoping ours with the exterior bat compartments will allow more room internally for the rest of your kit

Multiple Bat compartments? Designed for the hosk then?
-
Not that many no bag has that many lol
-
the bag would be the size of a truck if it had 100 bat compartments!!! alas ours only has space for 2 bats
-
In 2 separate compartments? That's better than most other wheelies if so!
-
Sorry, I've just worked it out from the photo whoops!
-
Will the pockets fit man size bats in Tom?
-
id hope so mate as otherwise ill be a bit stuffed!!! :(
-
How much will you be selling them for tom?
-
TBC as yet as need to find out how much they will be to send out....as i havent physically had one in my possesion as yet the price will be confirmed inc P&P when they arrive. Slight delay in getting them sent as they are just putting the logos etc onto them.
-
Ok do let me know; I'm quite interested! Also, gIve me a pm when you send my hoodie over please! Cheers
-
will do mate all the bags and hooies are being sent together so im pushing for delivery ASAP
-
Ok fair enough..cheers Tom; looking forward to it! :)
-
so am i mate as had the preview pics nearly a month ago now :D wanna check out the final product
-
So the Ayrtek will be big enough then? I wasn't that bothered about a stand up, just something that won't fall apart and can fit my gear in without having to weld it shut! Is the Kook 800 wheelie big enough?
