Hi Guys,

can someone explain the pro's and cons of heartwood in a bat please??

As far as im aware . . . Heartwood is the centre of the tree where sap has left the wood making it a darker colour. . . Its pros are that it has better rebound properties than sapwood . . . Its cons. . . As there is no sap in the wood it is far more brittle and thus more prone to damage
