If your looking for sponsorship id lead with the county stuff and not the district. Sounds a bit better.

I would advise that you formulate a cricket CV as such providing your credentials so that you can email it to that brands that you feel may help you out.

when you recieve an email from someone who simply asks what discount they can get on kit stating that they play county cricket i would like some evidence to back it up as everyone is on the look out for a discount it seems!

Sounds like a few haters in here.
I would have thought there woulf be quite a few companies that might offer you special disocunt rates if you bought a kit package to be honest.
I am afraid i dont know which ones are better or worst. I guess it might be better to go with a company cliser to you so you could try the kit.
Where are you?

Why don't you e-mail some of the bigger companies? The worst they can do is say no but most of them do give sponsorship, especially if you're only 15.

I hear Simmy got a 24 ball 100 once ;) Trying to help you out here :)- generally, if you go to a smaller company and buy all their kit, they'll give you some firm of discount, but you're looking for a decent portion no? Get a cricket cv done, with stats, teams, records and details about yourself done: email that round and then see what happens. Rejection is part of it at first, you'll find a company will accept you for sponsorship I'm sure though!
Hope that helps mate :)
Sim, are you actually sponsored by ayrtek: honestly don't know! Or is this you winding the lad up... :/

I was thinking of CJI, but have never tried to get sponsored myself.
He seems to know what he is talking about so i think you will get some nice kit off him. I am pretty sure he get all his stuff done from the better Indian factories, so essentially you are getting the top notch goods for less then the main manufacturers prices.
I have their gloves and the are very very good.
i would be suprised if you would better that, but you never know

i see sponsorship as to ways

Free sponsorship all kit provied free of charge

or u get a discount off the gear.

now i got some discount of the ayrtek gear i baught cos i got pretty much everything

so in my eyes this classes as sponsorship but i am winding the guy up.

however my cricket cv doesnt look to bad (No Swearing Please) loads of awards and stuff just never played county level
