Haven't had anything this year, swapped clubs so didn't have too much time to make an impression. Picked up 2 fielding awards and a clubman award in 2009 though, missed out on the sat and sun bowling awards by about 0.6 on the averages for each of them! Gutting!

We didnt have any awards for our U16's this year, not sure why, but i would most likely have won something. I got;
Sat 2nd XI Batting - 2010
Special Achievement (1000 Runs) - 2010
Sun 1st XI Captain's Award - 2010
Im pretty happy consideringit was my first full season at this club. :)

Didn't pick up anything for personal performances this year but did get a league winners medal and a T20 winners cup/medal. Didn't play in the 8 a side winning side otherwise I'd had 3 this season. One of our guys picked up the same 2 as me but also best bowling and best allrounder at the league awards.

Haha! I'd much rather have 1 or 2 a season than all of them at once to be honest :P In the season two years ago I got League Highest Batting average, most league runs, most club runs, highest club average (over 10 innings), league trophy, cup trophy, under 17's cup and a couple more... Never mind!

Volunteer coaching. Passed my level 2 when I was 17 so I've done some coaching with county and district age groups plus at my club etc.

Then somebody at my club heard about the awards and put me up for it and I won!

I dont even know them tbh, nothing hugely special, i opened this year and we had a 50 run opening partnership in every game bar one which was pretty good.

When i was a junior i managed to get the set (not just in 1 season tho :D ) ,the token most improved , token fielding ,  Bowling averages twice , player of the season once , and somehow batting averages once .......... i was always 9, 10, 11 ish as a bowler but when i became captain , i made the executive decision to bat myself at 7 (as you do) , and basicly came in just as the poorer bowlers came on and tanked them around for abit (i like to think i play with controlled aggression ) ended up winning the averages much to the dismay of the 2 district players and younger county player in the team :D

Everyones clubs seem to give out a lot of different awards!

I won club fielder of the year for the second year running. Was presented this year by James Hildreth who is currently in Aus with the performance squad.

This year i won:

First XI batting average - 41.42
First XI batting aggregate - 661 (from 17 games)
League Cup Winners Medal
League Representative U25's Cap

One more wicket would have seen me steal the bowling as well, (god damn skipper) whats wrong with my part time pies!!

Not bad for first season at new club

I managed to bag the 'Individual Outstanding Performance' of the year award. Was great looking at my name on the trophy alongside some of the clubs greats.

Was also good seeing the faces on some of the 1st team players who had missed out getting their name on it again!

I was very miffed to receive Sunday Player of the year. The skipper said that we were all rubbish and that there were no stand out perrformances...He went on to say tht the recipient of the award (me) didn't do anything special, but would do everything tht was asked of him (basically team bitch) and most importantly, played even more games than the skipper himself!

Which makes me one sad fcuk lol. One first team player and club player of the year (trophy just said 'Player of the year' loved that) the year before so all swings and roundabouts! :D
