I assume you arent fussed about getting original labels? Otherwise i'd have suggested going to Solitaire

Exactly same situation as you were. Got a lovely plain bat of talisman that he stickered as a puma and could do with a couple of ounces taken off. Will try my luck emailing them. Thanks

Alrid,
That looks a really lovely bat.
Quite a lot of weight to take away, is it still in one piece?

I can't remember fully, but I'm sure someone suggested putting your bat in a warm place such as on your radiator to get any moisture out of your bat and dropping it's weight by a few ounces.

Not sure how good this would be for your bat if you took to much moisture out though.

This has been mentioned a few times - apparently Julian Millichamp has been known to do it - the downside is that it will reduce the life span of the bat.

Maybe it's the solitaire stickers that weigh so much?

Think it's down at 2.85 now mate which Inc thick spiral, stickers and hammer edge was a bit lighter without as thought Wayne wanted it under 2.9 ???
