Shark Hammerhead
SH or LH : LH
Weight : 2.7
Grains : 15
Edge Size : 27mm
First of all my match bat for 2010 and the end of 2009, it started off as quite a decent bat, as it had quite a lot of ping, no it has sort of 'worn out' and has fallen out of favour because it has been used so much and has a very thin profile.

Spyder Green Venom
SH or LH : SH
Weight : 2.8
Grains : 6
Edge Size : 30mm
This bat is new as i swapped it for a bat i bought which started to vibrate a lot as it was a pro's that had been repaired.
Anyways this bat was made by SG and yes its bleached, but it is still quite a good bat but is only my net bat for when im on the bowling machine and for when its wet in outdoor nets.

Spyder Legend
SH or LH : SH

The blank bat is soon to be stickered up as a Spyder Legend but the stickers are stuck in India waiting to be dispatched but because of the weather they haven't made it here yet.

Spyder Kaizer
SH or LH : SH
Weight : 2.10
Grains : 7
Edge Size : 40mm
This bat is by far the best bat i have ever owned it goes like there is no tomorrow the middle is really low and is huge! The pick up of this bat is unreal it picks up lighter than my Shark Hammerhead. It was my brothers match bat for last year and recently been refurbished.

-
How do you contact the spyder?
-
love the kaizer stickers!
-
Spyder are a local company and I couldn't speak more highly of them I forgot to mention that Spyder Kaizer was made for Younis Khan but he had a different one of the batch I think
-
How much did they cost? And do they have an email?
-
prices vary between 120 and 170, i cant remember how much i paid for it, top quality they are mate

I can beat that with my GM :D
-
OUCH! >:(
It pains me to see these battered cricket bats - they are sensitive and should be kept for life, not just for Christmas!! ;)
-
haha pete ;)
i saw and was just like :O, he was gonna chuck it, but i thought nahhhh i'll have that, just say to friends look what Freddie Flintoff did to my bat when i faced him haha

Shark Tiger
SH/LH or Harrow : Harrow
Weight : 2.6
Grains : 9
Edge Size : 25mm
Shark Hammerhead
SH/LH or Harrow : Harrow
Weight : 2.6
Grains : 15
Edge Size : 25mm
The Hammerhead was my brothers match bat from 2 years ago, decent bat, but its has a large crack on the toe so it had to be replaced, turn into an autograph bat, the Tiger was an absolute plank! so it instantly became an autograph bat

Shark Limited Edition
SH/LH or Harrow : Harrow
Weight : 2.6
Grains : 15
Edge Size : 20mm
My brothers net bat for a couple of seasons, just used it in the nets when it was to wet for our normal bats. Went well of the middle, all be it a very small middle, bit of a plank
(http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee240/espocrespo/5d19647a.jpg)
Duck & Run Black T20
SH/LH or Harrow : SH
Weight : 2.13 (2 Grips)
Grains : ?
Edge Size : 30mm
(http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee240/espocrespo/d1042fcd.jpg)
Considering what this bat is, what it is made from and what it is really for (novelty) i have actually used it in the nets and it goes quite well which is VERY surprising.
Kookaburra Genesis
SH/LH/Harrow/Size n : Size 6
Weight : 1.11 (no grip)
Grains : 7
Edge Size : 19mm
My second bat, turned into a back garden cricket bat, so therefore got let out in the rain lots hence the colouration of the wood. But before that it was an amazing bat.

Shark Hammerhead
SH/LH or Harrow : LH
Weight : 2.8
Grains : 15
Edge Size : 26mm
My match bat for the 2009 season, decent bat, had really good ping and good balance, i quite liked this bat that season not so keen on it now, I like bats a bit heavier with bigger profiles now.

Spyder Enigma LE
SH/LH or Harrow : Harrow
Weight : 2.6
Grains : 6
Edge Size : 25mm
This like the Kookaburra turned into a back garden cricket bat, so therefore got let out in the rain lots hence the colouration. Was my brothers which he got at the end of one season to replace a GN Carbo that he snapped.

Wonder what happened to Stac. Never saw alot of them used, but the few I did see were well regarded.
-
same, a few at my club have had them for years and they still go well
-
This is a bit of an assumption, but why the attraction to Spyder stuff? There are two you describe as planks, one would put me off a brand. Why go back? :)
-
There Shark Jon
I like the look of spyder infact are any of your for sale
I would go as far to say they all look good and a few mates have them and suggest them very highly
what is the choice does he let you pick through pictures and so on

Well...err...
What a silly idea to have two animal based bat companies beginning with s.
Ha, sorry for the confusion. Nothing to do with the wine.
Just stupidity on my part.
Disregard previous post. :D
-
Shark my bro was sponsored, initially got a few mint bats, then after they were crap so we stopped getting them.
SPyder on the other hand is a local brand amazing company, custom service is fantastic, the guy who runs it knows me well know, so he just messages me on FB when he either has a new shipment or when he has a bat in that he knows I will like. He stocks about 200 on site, if you tell him what your after he will go in the back and grab a few out that suit your requirements, they are graded on performance not looks, and I can say this is correct, I bought one bat the Spyder Kaizer not the best looker, but it's by far the best i have ever had
-
I can not get over there though....
I have herd very good things about them indeed
-
Add him on Facebook search Spyder bats, and just ask him to send you some pics
-
Where is spyder based?
-
Stoke-on-Trent
-
i never knew Dhoni used Spyder in the last Indian series

-
Where did you get it refurbed?
-
Spyder cricket, did a great job for a great price
-
does Robert Pack not do most of the refurbishment for spyder
-
I doubt it, because I gave it to spyd for about 4 days
-
Did not know spyder had a workshop might give Gary a ring need something doing
-
It isn't at the shop, he's either done it home himself or given it someone , I didn't ask...
