Title: Warsop fixing.....
Post by: BucketHandsGreg on November 12, 2008, 07:49:22 PM
I bought a warsop platinum couple of weeks ago and have almost finished the knocking in. There are two slight problems I ahve though. At the top below the sticker the is a large dent and I don't know how as I did not knock it in too hard around this area. the other is that in the middle grain is starting to come up. you cannot see it but if you run your finger along it you can feel it. Warsop say bring it in and they will sort it out. Did anyone else have this problem and what did warsop do? Many thanks, Greg.

I find that my bat changes a bit after use, I've over the years decided to call the effect "use". My advice to prevent this happening is to hit it with an "air hammer" and when ready play "air shots", over the years I've scored some massive "air centuries".

Sadly no, I was given out LBAW 2 short of the target in the final match. Terrible decision as you could clearly see the "air ball" was going down leg.....
