Yes, two years ago they took over 2 months to deliver my items.  I then cancelled the order and another month later recieved my items!

You will eventually receive your order but will take some time.

I think Cricket Direct work to a different calender.

Owzat are always quick with turning orders around and have very good customer service

they're not too bad from my experience. I bought some GM original LE gloves last year, when the package came they said they didn't have them in stock so sent me the Original D30s instead with a note saying Happy Christmas. BOOM!

My D30 Pads arrived within a week of ordering... :) Sent a 2010 catalogue though.... Cheeky blighters! :)

In my case they have been awful.

I ordered Puma 5000 Evolution gloves and 4000 pads. Shortly after they said the 4000's would be sent as 5000 was out of stock. I sent them back as I wanted 5000. After a month they still hadn't refunded.

With the pads, I only realised they had sent the wrong ones when I opened them on Christmas day. As it was after the 14 day period they refused to refund.

When I rang them I spoke to a very rude asian woman who constantly interupted and came back with case notes saying that I sent the 4000's back because I 'decided I didn't like them'. When I asked for her bosses name so I could contact him she said that she couldn't disclose that information. Eventually I got it out of her.

At the moment I am lumbered with 3000 atomic pads and chasing my refund.

I went there to have a look at some bats, the guy who served me seemed to be pretty helpful, so I have no real complaints. Wasn't aware that the online sevice was so bad, from what you guys seem to be saying. :|

It took me a letter on ECB headed paper and the threat of legal action, as there phone lines didn't exist, they didn't respond to emails, nothing so after a month i eventually got my money back...stay clear would be my advice, owzat, barrington or cricket supplies among others are much better bets

I made an order in excess of £300. When it eventually arrived after numerous emails of complaint, the order was only half sent. Another barrage of emails and phone calls and I eventually received all my items. A full 3 MONTHS after my initial order was placed!

Horrific customer service. Especially in contrast to a company like uzisports.com who I have exclusively dealt with since the issues with cricket direct!

So many other cricket retailers out there, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM!

Still having problems. After some time a member of staff said they would allow me to return the item only for me to call back a week later to see if they had received it to be told by someone else that I wasn't allowed to return it and they would get 'back to me'.

Not holding my breath.

I cannot emphasise enough- AVOID THIS COMPANY

We had similar problems with a supplier recently, you must record your problems with trading standards and if goods do not arrive etc you must register your problems with the police as in some cases it constitutes theft or fraud to obtain funds etc with no intention of supplying. Its a very dark/grey area but don't be afraid to register it with the police and get a reference number after informing suppliers who are defaulting on payment or delivery of goods it can prompt them into refunds etc.

Back in November. Trading standards involved at the moment.

One girl that worked there rightfully backtracked and agreed to refund. I sent the pads in and now she's denying instructing me to do so s she's obviously scared of getting a bollocking- they now want me to pay for the same (wrong) item to be posted back! They're an asian run company and the people I have dealt with are extremely rude and this one girl (Maya) is a liar on top.

What you messing around with that type of place for Keeper gloves? Hasnt a forum told you anything, the best value comes from the small guys.

Google Warby Goalkeeping, I promise you they are better than most £70+ gloves.

I have heard nothing but bad things about them... poor customer service, items not delivered, refunds not given as many others have highlighted before me. There are so many top cricket retailers than these with a great selection of gear, quick delivery and good advice. Don't use Cricket Direct.

I ordered two weeks ago. If I were you, just tell them to send everything a.s.a.p. and do their job properly ;)

Trust me mate you wont regret it. Great company, great quality kit. My stuff lasts forever from them, and their "fingersave" type gloves are brilliant.

Just a quick note to warn all potential buyers of new cricket gear!!
I am new to this site and forum, but feel I need to give people a heads up about Cricket Direct...........
They are shocking to deal with, absolutely full of c**p and down right shoddy......... after spending £600 and getting my purchased kit sent to a wrong address, then replacing some of the kit I ordered with tat of their shelves which I found out when I eventually received it, they then, to add insult to injury, have sworn blind they have refunded me for a set of Adidas cricket shoes which funnily enough, even after threats of legal action etc, has never reached my bank account. (serious moan, sorry!!!). To make matters worse have sent me what appears to be ficticious transfer codes for the refund, as they mean nothing to my bank.
PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I HAVE AND DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!!

Andy - cracking first post! welcom to the forum - we love a good rant here! Just be careful you don't spend another £600 on cricket bats during the next few weeks... ;)

I ordered from them a few years ago, ordered some pads and gloves in Junior size and they sent adult ones, I complained and they let me keep the adult stuff and sent me the Junior stuff I wanted.

Although they did make the mistake they were easy to work with and willing to help, I would order again from them.
