Post by: 400notout on January 09, 2011, 03:39:13 PM
Anyone seen the team for the Pm's XI? Three players not having played first class, played for Aus Capital Territory, anyone care to explain? Excited to see how some of the young guys cope against England!

Just wondered if anyone had the info on the other guys, I'm pretty excited to see the young guys make a better job of it than the Ashes side. Think flair will show through from the likes of Ferguson and Khawaja

why has anderson flown home?

A break before the world cup, and a chance to see his new kid I'd imagine.

Feel free to disagree, but wouldn't it be more beneficial to play a T20 warm match ahead of the 2 T20s?

I think the bigger picture is the 7 ODI's and the 50 over world cup coming up

it would be so much better if Shazard and Woakes could control the new ball!

And how does tredwell have a place in the team. Even if its just because Swann is resting, he is crap!

would it not have been better to have a more experience seamer such as bresnan in the 11? Luke Wright is the most experienced seamer in the team!

To be honest, Tredwell is a like for like of Swann, in terms of being an off spinner(not ability wise).

How many offies are floating around in F/C?

Tredwell's a decent cricketer who's been messed about by the England set-up over the last two or so years.
