Doesn't look too bead, but whats witht the camo. I'm not exactly sure what the marketers were thinking.

The Camo looks great in the flesh, very nice in the SPS1 gloves.

Post by: Outlaw on November 17, 2008, 09:15:18 PM
I'd assume the Camo is to go with the B52-Bomber theme, might have to sample one of the Bombers, are these finished designs? I just got the general feeling that logo's had yet to be added to a couple of the designs. I think the guys at Hove have missed a trick here by not working on a camo style grip for the B52's!

Post by: Talisman on November 17, 2008, 10:21:06 PM
The B52 and Camo are not linked.

Pads all look top, not sure on the gloves yet though. Bats look great also.

Title: Re: Newbery 2009
Post by: renegade on November 18, 2008, 01:49:10 AM
The logos are still there, just in white

New pads and the camo SPS1 gloves, which I must say look pretty good.

Wouldnt you think a batsmen playing that standard of cricket would have a better thigh pad?
Title: Re: Newbery 2009
Post by: siberry on January 06, 2009, 09:09:38 PM
Tbh Crissy i think a thigh pad is a thigh pad, It does the same job. Becasue the bone is well protected by muscle all the high pad has to do is deflect the ball and partly absorb the impact.
Title: Re: Newbery 2009
Post by: slogger02 on January 06, 2009, 09:12:01 PM
i expect it does the job and he probably doesn't care what it looks like
