bizarre....that's my take on it...how can any bat....unless it's made of gold be sold for £1000

a fool and his money are easily parted springs to mind

Definitely not going for it even if I had the money to.

Rather go for a L&W Signature (more value for money) or put money on a charity auction like one being carried out by Surrey CC (meet the players, watch the game and get a top end players own kit)

I thought the gray nichols legend at £320.00 took the biscuit but this tops it.
I hope none of them sell and the special limited edition finishes at number zero.

they give bats to the pro's so I wonder who they expect to buy this....
perhaps someone who wants a nice case

haha was going to say Mr Hosk u must have been tempted to parted with sum £££ as it would be the crown jewl to any collection.....if i didnt have a wedding to save for i may have considered it as would be more for the experience than the bat at the end of it for me.

Do you really think you'll secure permission to get one once you've tied the knot! ;)

1k for a bat? Even I have limits!

I would be tempted to try out the Laver offer of £900, but that is for a Private Bin G1 bat as a net bat, then the creme de la creme bat in willow terms of the Signiture! Plus other bits and pieces.
Would be interested to know what Newbery offer for the £1k!!! Whether it's just the single bat, or if they offer a full package?
