Just wanted to say thanks to Tom for his assistance with a purchase that wasn't going to benefit him directly right now. Your assistance is much appreciated.

I followed up with the Ayrtek on ebay and Tom has been very helpful in verifying its provenance and helping me understand the Ayrtek products.

I'm sure it will end up popping to see him for a refurb at some point in the next six months.

Yeah but Simmy is offering a 'gobel' - I think you'll find that is something completely different.

Baxter's Anglo-Swiss Thesaurus describes a 'gobel' as: "a small, dark skinned herdboy, who will ring a goat's bell with his teeth for money"

..so I've got to say - that's a terrific offer Simmy!

Any further forum purchases should be arranged with a complimentary 'gobel' for delivery. And a gobble should simmy feel it necessary.
