I have been offered a Gunn & Moore Apex Original (2010) model, and given I know sod all about GM, was wondering what people would pay for this second hand. Cost my mate £230, used it last game of the season and 3 net sessions.
I netted with it last Sunday at Shrewsbury school and although it's a 2.8lb, I really liked it. Went like a rocket. He has said to me £180, but considering I have just ordered a bat from Matt @ H4L this morning, I think that might be a bit steep. However I know nothing of GM bats in general
Anyone have any opinions? I could probably take a couple of pics on Sunday night as Ive asked him to bring it along again.
Cheers in advance
Will

What do you want it for? If it's a net bat, then I reckon that's a bit pricey, especially as you have the H4L on the way, which will be a beauty! If it's a match bat, then are you willing to pay that much?
GM generally aren't bad bats!
-
180 way over the top! I can get you a new one for that!
-
Expensive can pick them up for £100 new at a store near me.
-
I would have said somewhere round the 100 mark for a second hand one.
-
To be honest mate, I don't NEED it I suppose. Just really got on well with it in the nets, and always fancied a GM! It would probably only be a netting bat, and if I'm honest, 3rd bat in line behind the H4L and Distinction. I had £100 in mind if I was paying for it
Think this bloody forum is rubbing off on me! However, he is looking to sell and I could probably get some pics up on Sunday to see if any of the chaps off here are interested

I suspect he wouldn't be happy with £100 for it...

No I don't think so either. I have never bought off the shelf bats mate, so don't really know what's worth what if you know what I mean. Still, it's a lovely bat though! I enjoyed using it anyway
-
He's just text me actually saying £150...still getting the impression that's too high.
He is a mate after all and don't want to see him part with it for the sake of it
-
Why's he selling?
-
I've just asked him that, said if the price was right he would consider it. I personally wouldn't sell it, I think it's a gem, but I'm not going to pay £150 for it, when I know what I can get on here from the various guys
-
first impressions aren't always lasting ones... keep your money in your pocket I reckon.
-
Jimba sold one recently for about £100, so £150 is way high
-
The only question you need to keep in mind is, if this bat is so good why is he selling it?
-
If he wants decent money tell him to sell it on ebay. Condition depending he'll probably get about 130ish plus postage. To us guys it probably wouldnt shift for a ton.
-
Have advised him to do just that.
He has said he has a PS bat, crack in the toe and I've said I will see what I can do to put him in touch with someone about repairs.
