Looks great! Only complain I happen to have with SS bats is that half of the face is covered by stickers....

Got pictures of new SS softs?

Perhaps due to their being imperfections underneath?

Ive had a fair few bats from SS (with and without stickers) and when refurbing them by taking stickers off etc, they have never had any imperfections underneath.

How do imperfections near the splice or the back of the bat affect its performance?

There are loads of Grade 1 bats from every major batmaker or brands that have imperfections around the splice or at the back and people do not care about them.... as they do not affect the performance.

Totally agree with you Yash, most imperfections do no affect performance. ( unless they are knots etc, infact other imperfections such as butterfly stains are said to enhance performance)

But we buy with our eyes, not our logic.

Not fussed about imperfections under them (not saying there are mind) but stickers more than about a third of the bat cface just look a bit ugly, I do wish they'd stop it.

What is the Green bat?  What grade is it? How much?  Any pics of SS gloves yet?

It is called SS Premier, grade 2, haven't worked out the price. I had to go through many boxes to hand pick these

Heritage is £114.99(on the web site) and Green one , I need to work out the price of Premier

I have a Heritage, but not 2'8!!
I have started knocking it in, although haven't used it in anger yet.
Tapping it up it feels very responsive indeed! A couple of years ago I wasn't that impressed with Asian bats. But SS were responsible for me changing my opinion. I believe that SS have been the main leader in pushing and improving the reputation of Asian bats. SS do not seem to have oversized edges compared with some Asian brands, but huge edges are overated in my opinion! SS just seem to make quality bats. I know that BAS, CA, and other brands offer some good bats....but if I had to pick just one Asian brand to use, then it would be SS.
Anyway, enough of me yapping on. The Heritage I have is top quality, and taps up beautifully! You shouldn't go too far wrong with one!
