Found this website today
www.willostix.co.uk
the bats look good so do the soft goods.
seems like a good idea to me
anyone had experience with them before?
-
i saw them in the leicester ccc club shop, and they looked fantasic and cheap at only £69.99 but dont know what grade of willow.
-
Saw them advertise in AOC - I remember Ian Willis being something to do with them... he always used to plug them a lot at least!
-
They are RNS Larsons imports with fancy stickers, do it yourself and save money, you can get the blanks in London direct.
-
the stickers look very nice imo
-
They should do since they add £100 to the cost of the bat.
-
I wish my stickers added £100 onto the price of my bats!
-
Add it on, they are better bats then Willostix.
-
is the quality of the bats very poor or something?
-
I think the point they are making is that you are basically paying £100 for their stickers, as they are simply importing and putting their stickers on. This doesn't mean you will get a terrible bat, but that they are overpriced.
-
I find RNS Larsons to be as good an import as you'll find, I've sold some stunners but these are just standard grade 1 and 2 bats with stickers added. No value compared to a English made custom such as CE.
-
Yeah your right Leo. Ian Wills used to sell them. I have one lieing around somewhere, its blank but I was told its willowstix, and has the case so i expect so, seemed quite nice.
-
RNS makes very good bats. Their Eurostar bats are amazing.
It is amazing to see how the quality perception of a bat changes with the stickers put on it and we happily pay more for the fancy lables.
-
Very under rated, other companies are ahead in peoples minds due to their ability to produce softs for the big brands.

-
London, its a big city in the south of England, but thats not important right now.
You can buy RNS Larsons blank from Ali at AJ Sports.
