Not sure if this is been discussed here before but just wondering if anyone has a review to write about Piri Piri cricket bats

I saw the review on Wisden's website which gives the Naga Joloikia Pro 5*, but I haven't used one of the bats myself...
-
Sitonit,
Are you anything to do with Piri Piri?
-
Good question Jon. My suspicions were also raised.
-
sitonit is from the us of a so i doubt it... but who knows.
-
Just struck me as odd. Perfectly good and potentially innocent question asked, but why the advertising?
-
He is just asking the question and making people aware of what the products are...
-
looks like he's just after an opinion on the quality of goods? a bit like the woodstock post yesterday.......
-

Surely though, given the discussion of brands like Ace, you'd expect a bat forum to know of piri piri? Especially with it's Wisden award?
Maybe we are just too sceptical, some of us.
-
Or quick to pounce?
-
No one has pounced, no accusations have been made. A simple question has been asked, that's all.
-
Changing the subject to the bats, id personally say they are not for me. The willow might be good but i think the stickers are horrific. Only my opinion tho...
-
Nahh Sitonit is in NY area in US, I kinda know him and I know he has nothing to do with Piri Piri, you can take my words for it :)
-
Bit too loud for me the stickers and the wisden review sounded like they rated it because of the stickers first then the bat so not overly reliable
-
IMO a better question to ask than "has anyone spoken to......."
Piri Piri bats that I saw at the trade show were very good - picked-up well and tapped-up well too.
I find the stickers a bit too un/non serious and possibly more appealing for younger cricketers
-
i am not certain but are these made by CA. read that somewhere.
-
Was just about to ask where these were made.
-
IMO the stickers are nice and lively. Complete contrast to GM, GN etc. We could use a little variety in cricket bat stickers...
