2.10
35 mm edges
Heavenly awesome pick up
I have hardly seen large number of barrel straight grains with such a perfect symmetry and spacing.

Where that from looks a beaut

That does look kick as! Hope it plays as well as it looks

Looks great. Those stickers look very tatty though...
-
Is that a Asad beauty?
-
Wow gorgeous willow. Not a fan of the stickers tho....

When I got one of those, I removed to stickers straight away - the two benefits of that are that the stickers are not very nice, and it also shows off the beautiful grains. But also got it rehandled with newbery handle - as the AS handles tend to be poor quality (which is a shame as the blades can be excellent!!)

You bought it from a chap in Oz, correct? He showed his stock on CSF...

This tends to be a lingering issue with almost all Asian bats. Thru a friend, I acquired a used SS TON L.E. from Saurav Ganguly. The handle cracked within a year, send to Gray Nicolls UK for re-handling, the bat is stuck in customs for the last 9 months in London. (long story).
Anyway, missed out on winning Shahid Afridi's boom boom bat auction. It went for a mere NZ $650.00, my max was $600 and missed on bidding due to being at work !! Oh well.
How about you Pete? Got your hands onto anything interesting lately?

Love the profile, almost Sachin's bat replica with no concave and bottom heavy.
