Sneek Preview of our latest improvement to the helmets were looking to introduce, we know how tricky it can be to fasten your chin strap when you have your gloves on so we have this very clever little clip that does all the hard work for you!! Simple yet very effective.....

Let us know what you think :) ?
-
Like it thomas, simple yet effective, always the way forward!
Would it not come undone easier if you say stretch your mouth open and let out a massive yawn lol?
-
Yeah, I concur, very well-thought out and neat way of doing things. When are these gonna be implemented into the helmets out of interest. As I could have used one of those on mine haha! If we were to send a helmet back to you for an end-of-season refurb (if I require it), would you be able to add one of these little things in? Out of interest, I like the concept, getting closer to world domination every day!! ;)
-
By the looks of it, it can only come undone by sliding sidewards rather than if you were to stretch it by 'yawning'
-
yes it requires a sideways motion to unclip it as pulling in the direction of the helmet wont have any effect....Johan havent decided upon this eyt as it might be a feature we reserve for the very top end models ;) then again we might roll it out into all of them if feedback is positive as were kind like that :)

OUCH! OK mate, I see what you mean though. Might have to fork out for a RAW in future, but I could buy a bat from you for that money ;)
-
how much to have it fitted mate?
pm me if u want ;)
-
Tom
If a helmet was sent for a custom spray refurbishment would it be possible to get one of them
-
i would think so mate yes
-
Oh ok fair enough mate. :) - Might have to get a custom spray done for next year anyway! Liking the idea of Red :D - is that the £45 one? Though as I said it's a very good idea, another USP! :)
-
ok i be in touch want the warwickshire one to turn into a Lancashire one
-
All refurbs are £45 inc return P&P as this covers the time and effort involved to sort them out. This fee wont include logos/crest though as they are outsourced and cost extra.
-
I thought it couldn't get any better, yet we have this!!! Can I have one on my lid? :D
-
lol there seems to be a que forming already Joseph!
-
looks like a good idea, but who puts their gloves on and then has to fiddle round with their helmet? dont most people just put helmet on before gloves?
still good luck with it tom :)
-
great idea Tom
now all i need is a bat that plays its shots for me and whites that clean themselves after 3 days of lying in my bag.....
-
Yawning should not open it as yawning contains a downward motion and there would be too much pressure on the clip for it to open.
Great idea Tom and I hope you do introduce it to your helmets and I think it might catch on to equestrian helmets etc.
Just out of interest, how does it work. Is there a magnet in it?
-
You are correct mate...draws the two clasps together and snaps it into palce.....then simply slide them apart to release it.
-
Tom me and Steve have decided you need to invent the hover-bag
-
yeh if all floors were made of steel we cud work out the magnets to hoover it!!!
-
I heard Tom invented the ping pong ball
-
And sliced bread
-
There were rumours that he also invented the hamster, but I think that was another Tom
-
I heard he invented cricket so he could sell stuff that he didn't know what it was for!
-
He also invented the word 'forum'
-
I heard Tom=Stig.....
-
now lads i cant take credit for all of these althought that james dyson bloke was picking mr brains for ideas about sum vacuum thing and that bill gates was sniffing around a while back......also meant to file a patent of those round things that help things move but never got around to it!
-
Lol, you forgot Steve Jobs mate... ;) - obvious that everything good in this world has stemmed from Tom :D
-
im not that vein mate otherwise i would have named the brand after myself
-
To-pple? :) - haha, this has gone ridiculously off-topic it's quite funny!
-
FIGJAM would be a gr8 brand name....back on topic im gonna test it out at nets later and see how it goes
-
Looking forward to hearing the results! :)
-
Looks good mate, keep on innovating!
-
I have seen the light in terms of helmet materials!
-
What do u mean Joseph??
-
I ran it past you the other day, but you said you were one step ahead :(
-
Ah right lol yeh onto what ur
In about now
-
How did the clasp go in the nets Tom?
-
Yeh good mate easy to fit even with gloves and a few of the lads gave it ago and liked it...now asking to updated version typical lol
-
It looks the part anyway...hope it works out for u
-
Looks very convenient!
-
Genius!!!! love it and roll it out on all models.........sit back and watch Albion indroduce it in 3 years claiming to be innovative!!!!!
-
theres no way i can comment on that without a good chuckle!
-
A little more magic for u....dissected a shell recently so u cam see that the materials we use are authentic and are 100% caron fibre and Kevlar.
The shell is 1.12mm thick when measured :)
We could make it thicker and effectively "bullet proof" but it does it job as it in terms of strength vs weight ratio.
-
bullet proof tom could you make me one when i next go on holiday so to speak
-
cud do mate but they dont use CF from what iv heard on the grapevine ;)
-
Would it not come undone easier if you say stretch your mouth open and let out a massive yawn lol?
Yawn! You must be quite the dasher! :)
