Sehwag's squad number is 44 but he doesn't like to have it on his shirt.

I recall reading something to do with numerology and the luck associated with certain numbers and number combinations. He was receiving a lot of advice as to what number he should choose for a jersey to maximum the luck - too much in fact and he decided to not have a number on his jersey at all!
