Hello,
I have sent two bats off to be refurbished, and rung steve wilkinson today and he said he hadn't received them yet, they were sent last wednesday on next day delivery so now I'm in a state of panic and worry.
Do I leave it a few more days or ring royal mail and stick a claim in?

Do you know mate how much your insured for if any ?
-
If sent special you will have had to declare the value on sending, if sent recorded it is £41 as standard, either way claim as soon as possible as they drag their feet.
-
Do you have the tracking number for them? Have you tried to see where it's at?
-
I sent it next day with no insurance as didn't have enough money on me at the time, but when reading my receipt it says if lost or stolen you can get up to 100 times what you paid for postage? No I don't it through post office
-
Which courier did you use? Quite a few people on here use them regularly so may be able to help.
-
I went into my post office and asked them to send it, so royal mail. I am genuinely panicking now
-
What service did you use? Standard Parcels, etc? If you can give us some more info, we can probably help more.
-
The next day parcels, I payed 8 quid to send them. I went in and they said they would be there thursday or defo friday. So
-
Matt H4L sent my bat recorded next day which guarantees getting to you before 1pm the following day. That certainly costs more than £8
Have you sent them standard 1st class? As has been mentioned, do you have a tracking number?
-
That costs £8.49 as that's how I send mine
-
Judging by the price you have given, if it went parcels, then it can only have gone Standard Parcels, as there is no Next Day service that is less than £15 to buy, and without additional insurance, the max cover is £41.
If you sent Special Delivery Next Day, then you have £500 compensation cover, but you'd need to start the process off on that.
If you sent Recorded Delivery, Signed For then you have a max compensation of £41.
First thing to do is check the receipt and see which service you sent it.

PS - Roco...got your PM's about nets, sounds good. Will reply when I get home from work. Cheers

I send my bats delivery by 1pm next day and is £8 something must be my post office
-
You used to have to wait at least 14 days from the date of postage before you can claim as well, not sure if that is still in place or not
-

That'll be Special Delivery then.
-
Always send bats like that as it has tracking and insurance
