watching the game last night, a lot of close ups of ten Doeschate, naturally, his bat is no way an icon, no concaving. 

Anyone know if its a flare, a GM custom for him or a bat from another manufacturer stickered up?

I doubt it's stickered up but most likely like most pro's with any brand it's his own shape or his own variation of one of there shapes

probs not as gm said they do not let players sitcker up bats as they can make any shape on the cnc

That is true, but sometimes a Pro might remove his labels and stick them to another bat, sometimes....

Warsop don't make his bats I asked him, he gets them sent straight to him from GM

i saw that pic, does look 'flarish' doesnt it, but I imagine if it was it would simply have flare stickers? or perhaps the marketing guru(s) at GM try to spread the different models accross their pros to give all models exposure?

First glance looks like a flare however the more I look at it the more I think Icon.

I checked this with GM on Twitter, and had a reply from Ed Lowy - it is RTD's own profile, and not a stock shape.

I know his 'Apex' wasn't the same shape. It still had a spine right down to the toe.

Of you mean the Luna in the flesh is quite low but this is smiths one so may be different

sorry, I meant TD's bat, i was looking at the page whilst i was writing.

I meant high considering all the low slow pitches and low middle theory.
