KP has never denied that lots of his bats come from India... there do seem to be more bats there than matches being played at the World Cup - I wonder how long it will be until one turns up on the forum!!

I really don't like the way the Adidas bats look if I'm honest, although if I could use them like KP when he's in form, I wouldn't care.

Nice
look like a nice indian bat with a slightly thinner than normal toe.

I always thought the toes were cut very squarley on his bats

I could never make a bat like that....

Most Puma's are made in India, very good quality from what I saw when I toured the factory last year.

anyone know he doesnt have the pellara grip applied if hes not that ussy bout his bats

The all yellow grip looks better in my opinion, a batsmen can be unfussy over his bat, but the grips have to be right

Like you with the GM Shock Absorba Grip or others with an Xtrax Combi Grip... :)

I tend to be unfussy, but hey. I have loads of different types of grips on bats I've used, am on the Spirals/Chevs/Octo Grips at the moment though! :)

Johan - seriously, what on earth where you thinking sticking that bloody sticker on that SAF?!?! You were just asking for trouble there mate ;)

Glad you got rid of your gear though

Post by: johan95 on February 24, 2011, 11:57:14 PM
Haha lol I know, it was to get a decent picture of it. Tbf, the SAF was the only bat that had enough room - waheyyy :) - but I've since taken it off as you can see in the SAF for Sale Thread :) - better bump that tomorrow. How much did the WK Gloves cost you out of interest Will, sorry to go off topic, I have the SS ones, they felt great!

KP has a fair amount of bats then, I know he's a pro and all that, but I was sure they had a maximum of about 6 in the bag, but oh well. Some of them look lovely, I think he cares about the performance, and looks are a bonus...

He doesn't pick his own bats anyway, gets them sent from India. Just says he leaves it in the hands of people he trusts to choose for him.

You on about the SS gloves mate? Offered Sam an extra few quid for them, should be clearing it up over the weekend

Ohh nice mate! What so you nabbed a little sale there ;) - feel sorry for the other bloke if you did :|
Oh right, I see, but still they look nice, I remember Joe getting excited about the bat he scored his 227 with, saying he would love to use that etc etc...

if you could use them like KP out of form you'd be delirious! (me too by the way - not having a pop)

does KP need so many all at once? or is it that from the 10 or so he may only like 3-4?
