« Last post by Dansan1 on June 23, 2025, 07:29:34 PM »Old thread but after reading this I was browsing the ss website and noticed that they currently have a curve grade 2 bat reduced to 151 pounds which seems amazing value. It is very hard to buy bats unseen online of course. I might just grab one for that price and see how they are...

« Last post by Kulli on June 21, 2025, 10:17:19 AM »Even within a bat model the sizes will vary. Obviously the 50+ etc are all way too big but I imagine most models will contain bats either side of the gauge.

« Last post by swark on June 21, 2025, 07:14:03 AM »Slightly odd question, but I was wondering whether there was a list anywhere of bat models that were effectively banned due to the ICC introducing the size restrictions (i.e. maximum length of 38 inches (965 mm), maximum width of 4.25 inches (108 mm), maximum depth of 2.64 inches (67 mm), and maximum edges of 1.56 inches (40 mm)).
A team-mate has a number of bats from around 2010-2015 and was wondering which ones were still legal versus illegal. I know that we can measure them (or find someone with a bat gauge), but it did make me wonder if there was a list that actually noted the models that were no longer compliant.
