How did you start? did you just grab the sandpaper and go or?
Got the hairdryer out on the original armour face and stickers, they came off a treat. Then stuck it in the workmate and used an orbital sander on the front. Started at Coarse grade paper and then went through medium to fine. Had to remove a few seam marks and cherries and tried to get rid of surface cracking.
Used the same technique on the edges and toe, then used a rubber block with paper in to do the back and also the corners, again going through the grades.
Fairly straightforward, just a bit time consuming, and sanding the back by hand is a reasonable amount of effort.
