Had my first net of the year last night and felt really quick bowling wise batting wise my foot movement was teriable but still. The point of this topic is i manged to break 2 bats in one net ! 1st up was my well abused gn predator which just fell apart and 2nd my bn redback ! its not broken broken if you get me but some how 2 balls in a row i manged to cue end it and put 2 gert big dents in it anything i can do to rectafie this ? :( going to see gary on monday anyway but im gutted as this bat is perfect for me pics to follow !

as you know bud the problem with in door nets in the compression between a bloody hard floor and the ball with your bat.

My advice is do not use a spanker indoors

i no bud but the temptation of the redback which is by far the best bat iv ever used it absolutly flies !

Gutting mate. I always use the oldest bat I have for nets as everybody trys to bowl a million mph at you with a crappy ball on a hard surfice and plus we haven't played for a bit so our timing is all over the place. Looking forward to seeing pics

I nearly did the same the other night, first net, started using my Redback but noticed that someone was using a very hard ball so switched to an old bat to avoid any damage, must not get tempted to use the Redback in the nets!!

I use any bat as long as they are not using bat breaker balls as if they do I just refuse to hit them the cheap gits
