Mongoose article on Cricinfo

Tom - you may want to get them to check their info, I am not sure you want the public to think the goose is made from kashmir willow - although i am not sure how a legal bat can be made from 2 types of willow!

Apart from his natural sense of timing, this could become possible as a result of the enhanced power of a new long-handled bat that looks like a wooden paddle. It is called Mongoose MMi3.

The bat, comprising 90% English willow and 10% Kashmir willow, has been designed for Twenty20 cricket, and in particular the Indian Premier League, but is also a model in keeping with a general trend of faster scoring in the game, initially pioneered by Steve Waugh's Australians.

Beat me to it Sir Buzzington. Not sure what to make of it, thinking about it I'm not too keen on the article in general.

It is a poorly research article written by someone who hasn't bothered picking up the phone to someone who actually makes bats. It is not as if the guys like (for example) GM and GN or the others wont speak to the media either - I mean they post on here!!
