Thanks for the vote of confidence mate he really does make some beauties and the price he gives me I cant complain, ever since I've been on this forum just been tempted to look elsewhere thats all

The only downside is that he seems to be in demand all the time so have to wait ages for the bats

Have you always used Charlie French Bats??

No worries, yeah always used Charlies bats. The wait isn't too bad I got my latest custom one knocked up with about a weeks wait which is reasonable but the demand tells you something.  I've tried many bats off the forum as you say its tempting but tend to sell them on and stick with what I know and love! You wont go wrong with any of the brand on here or Mike as all offer great bats just a individual preference.

Buzz's sound advice is:
Pick the brand with the stickers you most like.
Then order a bat from them as with any of the brands on here you can't go far wrong. Look at the reviews in some of the sections and you'll see that loads of bats are absolute quality. SAF, Redback, H4L and Instinct to name a few.
Hope you get what you want mate! :)

Hey Guys decided to take Andy from SAF up on his 15% off promotion

Had a word with him and he has some blinders in, so plenty of runs this season hopefully

Had a word with Charlie who was happy for me to send the bat back for a free repair top bloke

Hi guys I'm new to the forum so hello to all I've been purchasing bats from charlie for the last 3 seasons, but always the handle cracks or needs replacing after a season so am looking to change bat makers what do you guys recommend??

Did some web searching and came across solitaire are they any good coz 125 for a grade 1 custom made sounds good

I've got a Talisman and a Solitaire and I'm more than happy with both bats! If you have a limited budget then I would look no further than a Solitaire, mine absolutely flies and everyone who has one has commented on the 'ping' of them. However 9 out of 10 of them come back to the customer heavier than ordered but I took mine back there and he reduced the weight of it free of charge.

If you've got a bit more money to spend then Mike (talisman) is your man if you want a very good bat. I had read many good reviews from people who have them on this forum and I decided to purchase one and I wasn't disappointed. It's easily the best bat I've owned.
