I disliked my clover, the only thing i like was the curved spine at the top at the back, wasnt fussed about the rest of it, heard some are quite decent though, like the chase i had off dave, which was dan the bat makers apparently, that was a decent clover but then maybe not representative of a true clover...

no mate dont take it personally dave, you said you didnt like the albie on the way it felt, its just personal opinion.

I can be fussy but its all about feel for me, i have loved some awful mates bats and would have happily used them, and have not like some absolute crackers, performanc eisnt an overly massive issue as its not really going to make me a whole lot better! but feeling comfortable does i think. As i keep referring too my fusion, wasnt the best bat by a long way, but i loved using it and thats what matters, the clover i just did not like, simples, and you cant claim it was a copy of your laver which apparently it was as it clearly clearly wasnt.

Dave,

I mean this for your own benefit mate. Please realise that when you are reading the following.

You need to stop interpreting things as if everything that is said on here is meant as a sleight against you. You've bitten at things I have said several times, and now this example against Sam. I can guarantee you neither of us have intended our comments against you. I can promise you I don't have time in the day to plan an attack on you - even if I had cause to, which I don't. You are a good chap Dave with a decent knowledge of things which could be used to help members who are less clued up than you ; if you are willing to do it. It seems though that quite often you are almost looking for a fight; times where a comment that is made would be considered 99/100 as harmless, as not directed, but you interpret it as a dig at you even though it was genuinely not even aimed at you.

It is a cricket forum mate. We talk (No Swearing Please) about bats. Most of us have no idea what we are going on about but we have a laugh and even learn something on occasions. It isn't the most important thing in the world. There are bigger things.

I hope you take this as it was intended - a friendly hint. We all let it get out of proportion some times and need a reality check. We all get stressed at things we shouldn't and this is one of those times. This place is here to be enjoyed. So enjoy it, don't read more into it than is there. Don't let you doubts ruin it for you, it is a great place with a good bunh of people. :)

when i said apparently i meant because i have never spoken to the bloke and am going on other people's words....that in my eyes is apparently as its not my first hand dealings with the guy. which ithink is fair enough.

dave as i said i didnt not mean in doubting manner, simply because i have never spoken to the guy and didnt deal direct i said apparently. Just like if you bought the pollard bat off ebay it would be apparently pollards. I know it was the batmakers, so it was silly of me to put but hey, apologies!

na mate your right about the clover somebody did not deliver what was asked for that i was sorry.

It just i do not write fancy or put things right sometimes but i hate somebody trumped up post and who is he to tell me.

If he gives it out like he does he talks down to people and his post is unwarranted
