Hello all,

I have been viewing this forum for while and the information I have acquired whilst doing so has aided several fantastic bat purchases.

I am currently the proud owner of a 2-7oz Redback surefire, which is needless to say a fantastic bat. But starting off the summer as always I have come across slow pitches which has made me think I might like something heavier.

A few years ago I was lucky enough to have a bespoke M & H made for me, which is now passed its best (though it was probably the best bat I have ever had). Rather than pay the �360 it costs to get another from M & H, I has thinking of getting a replica of my old bat made at hopefully a sightly cheap price.

I haven't quite saved the money to purchase this new bat yet, so In the meantime, has anyone on this forum had a bat copied in this past? and can anyone pass on any recommendations of which bat maker to go to?

As you liked the surefire you could go back to Gary at Redback and see whether he would copy it for you if you sent him the M&H, Talisman would be worth asking as well as his bats have a great reputation on here.

Ask the batmakers on here Andy (saf) and Matt (h4l) there the batmakers on this forum

James (L&W) runs a bat copying service but it is expensive with the custom charges
