Does anyone play for, or, know of this club? I ask as my mate Clint is over in the UK playing for them druing the Aussie off season.

Is that Sonning in Berkshire, who play in the Thames Valley League?

yeh mate I play for Sonning. Played with Clint at the weekend. Had to give him out lbw

haha. We are struggling for bowlers this year so lots of people are having a go. I think the batsmen got so excited when he came on to bowl that they tried to hit it to hard and ended up getting themselves out 

He is going alright at the moment. Got a few runs and has looked pretty good.

Been the same in the TVL for the last 15-20 years. Not enough bowlers because the decks are so bloody good and no-one wants to bowl . Spent 15 years at Marlow and it's soul destroying knowing even with a bit of swing and some turn, you'll still ship 250 no problems. No wonder there are some many good batsman in the TVL.

Plenty of spinners, just a lack of decent seamers.
