B52
« on: January 06, 2009, 06:08:53 PM »

Just taken receipt of yet another piece of art from Newbery thanks to Mike.
B52 shape, concaving to reduce the weight to 2.8, massive edge profile, amazing pick up and gorgeous ping. Will be changing B52 logos to GT335 to match my other bats.

Love it, tempted by one of these (or a GT) for sometime in the future.

SPS white gloves already here, awaiting delivery of my SPS11 white pads as I need small mens, and they had only had in the mens when they sent me the rest of my kit.

5ft 7, went down to the chalet to try the kit before ordering and the small mens fitted perfectly around my knee cap, whilst the normal mens my knee cap was just on the bottom on the knee pad, (problem with being a short-(No Swearing Please)!!)

Given that I work for a manufacturer of military aircraft, and this profile is near perfect for me (I'd possibly ask for a slightly lower middle), I think this bat is ace!

Really well made bat. The grains and profile are excellent. Middle is a bit higher but should serve well. Tempted to order one myself.....
