Laver & Wood Import Cost?
« on: May 31, 2011, 12:23:49 PM »

Hi there, i'm very interested in purchasing a laver & wood special reserve from their website, and from reading several posts on here, i believe that there are import duties to be added on top of the cost of the bat. could anyone who's previously bought from there give me a idea of what the import duties are, please.

any information would be highly appreciated. i've looked on their website and can't find the information, all it says is that they can vary depending on country. i just want to ascertain if its really worth me paying so much and if not I will just get a new shadow from black cat in the UK.

Thanks

the import costs will effectively add up to the VAT (i.e.20%) of the cost that L and W put on the bat when it is posted. Typically from what people are say, they are putting around £70-100 or a little more, which is where the costs are.

A laver or a black cat - now that is a tough question...

Thanks for the info guys. much appreciated. If i had the 200 more sheckles, i would get them both. i'm currently using a salix praestantia that still goes like a dream but after this 3rd year as my numero uno, i think i need to nurture a new one. i dont really know how much longer the old boy will last. i have a few back ups but they dont really suit me any more, damn you impulse buys at romida.

By the way anybody got any info on the new black cat joker extreme? just heard about it on black cat's facebook site. Sounds intriguing!!!!

 anyway thanks for the help.

I saw that too. It's either heavier, or they've bought out Mongoose and it looks like an MMi3..... ;)
